It sounds about like the response to a story about all the deer being killed by motorists the Des Moines Register ran 2 years ago. In the editorial page the next week a woman wrote in asking why the deer didn't cross the roads at the deer crossing signs. Hopefully she is a policy maker right now in government.......geesh!
