Kingston,Mi | Well it is easy to see that in this instance the Government has convinced at least one citizen that the summer months are 25 hours long and the winter is either 23 or 24 hours, Rep Markey of Mass. would be proud.
My solution(at least for Michigan) would be (1) in the winter be on Eastern Standard time then (2) during the summer months observe Central Daylight savings time, 99% of the media still wouldn't know what happened, but would gush over the "longer" days.
How this would effect evapotranspiration, I haven't a clue. | |
