| Strange you mention this topic. I have a referral in right now to have a CT scan done soon also. I have one every 5 years to check my aorta. My mother and brother have both had aortic aneurysms and had surgeries to correct them. Both have artificial aortas and heart valves. My mother's actually burst and she survived. Her carotid (sp?) artery in her neck currently has an aneurysm that can't be fixed. I guess this is a hereditary thing. I keep holding my breath. | |
