Subject: Family tradition?

Shoal Lake, Manitoba, Canada
In our family we have a tradition of problems related to craneal and aortic aneurysms, brain tumors and strokes.

On my last doctors appointment I mentioned to him that my sister and my grandfather died of brain aneurisms,
my mother died of tubercuous meningitis which is tubercolosis of the lining of the brain, my father had an
aneurysm of the aorta, my aunt and her daughter both succumbed to brain tumors.

What is odd to me is these happened to both sides of our family.

My doctor said we are going to get you a CT scan as soon as possible, lo and behold I have a 3mm aneurysm of the
brain. Now 3mm is only 1/8 of an inch but I've never known a slow leak to fix its self.

I have an appointment with a neurologist coming up so we'll see what happens, hopefully we've caught this in time.

Not looking for sympathy, just a good idea to follow up on any family health problems.

Jim
