I can't believe how many women walk out on their kids. Walking out on husband, I can believe. But their kids?
Kinda related, I just heard today an older woman (61) committed suicide, leaving behind two twenty-somethings, two grandkids and a husband. Successful business woman, donated a lot of time to charities and Special Olympics. What gets into people?
These situations we sometimes never know what she was thinking. I'm speculating that possibly she had issues within her marriage we don't know. If she had 20something children, she been married for 20something years, and maybe that marriage has fallen a part. If she was in the public light, she might not been comfortable with a divorce, maybe worried people would judge her differently. If she was a successful business women, she devoted a lot of her time towards that, avoiding problems at home till they we unable to handle it. Depression is becoming as serious of an illness as cancer or heart disease in my opinion. |
