| My kids mom walked out in '88 I think. She felt alcohol and drugs were easier when she lived 100 miles away.
I was lucky,,,just had five kids from 4 to 18. Wondered hows this gonna work,,,,soon would not had it any other way.
Was going to school full time.,working a job full time and farming full time. Years later my one daughter says"why did you wait so long to get the D,,,shoulda done it sooner!!"
Lost my job in 90 when they closed the company location,,,farmed 100% then and had lots of fun raising corn calves and kids.
Boy those walls were quite quiet when they all grew up and went to college and moved on. Took longest to adjust to that aspect.
