My guess is best rotation for highest yields would be wheat or triticale in winter, chop off at boot stage in April and plant corn. Chop it off in August/September. Control weeds and replant small grains in October or after your early planting date for your area. Anything chopped in the spring will go in a full season crop. Corn can be chopped in late June, early July and go in soybeans.
