Marianna Arkansas | For us stockers in the winter, thinking of using it on beef cattle coming out of drought areas in the summer. Here land and the crops it can produce are worth more than grazing. I know I'll get disagreement on this but for our situation we can feed cattle cheaper than we can graze them.
The biggest use will be selling it to the hill areas of AR, lot of calves feed there and they are a feed deficient area. We just have to be able to price it where they can buy and haul it. Already sending lots of hay and baleage that way. | |
