Subject: Corn problem, help identify.

America
Corn is 12-14 leaf, Guardsman Max applied just after emergence. Probably 10% of stalks are bowing over and have lesions on the center rib of leaves where the bowing starts. Also leaves have a crinkly appearance. Don't think it is insect but not sure. Seems worse on one number of corn which would lead me to believe it is chemical but Guardsman is supposed to be very crop safe. Last year was RR beans so no concern with carryover. My internet research came across bilbugs, smut, or chem damage. Any opinions? Will post pics later.
