We replaced it with a John Deere 4995 which was 100% reliable. We do custom work and cut about 4000 acres per year. The NH gear box was totally junk, bearings going out, and splines stripped. By the way I am not a bleed green guy as we now have a Pottinger triple mower which has been quite reliable also.
