Yup, the original pump on a 2510 was the 4-piston. One of those ideas that wasn't so good...JD had a mod program to change them all out for an 8-piston, but seems like some owners didn't hear about it or take advantage of a good deal...you'd be amazed how much better the 8 piston will make your tractor. the 3020-4020 pump will bolt right in.
