Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada
there is a chain that drives the knotter assembly hany to where the shear bolt is. the drive sprocket and the driven sprocket are out of synch. i time balers by eye and turn over by hand , using trial and error to check plunger to safety stop clearance till i got it right. has never failed me yet. loosen the chain , change synchronisation of the 2 sprockets, turn baler over, with knotter tripped, repeat as required till correct. DO NOT TURN OVER WITH THE TRACTOR, YOU'LL BREAK A SET OF NEEDLES.
