Subject: Re: % DDGs produced from corn used for ethanol???

Martinsville, Ohio
That's a good question, Mark. Kevin from Ontario quizzed me on that when I quoted Orion Samuelson on Samuelson Sez that half the corn comes back from ethanol in DDG, corn sweeteners and other products.

The links I have been reading say one third but that is only for DDG. I guess I would have to dig deeper to answer the question but I do know we are squeezing every nickel out of a bushel of corn at $8, just like we did at $4 and $2.
