Subject: Not sure where to ask, ethanol subsidy question

East central Iowa

On WOC radio from Davenport, Iowa, Jim Fisher is fond of saying that ethanol has been subsidized for 30 years.

I have been driving for about 50 years and I don't remember ethanol being around 30 years ago. Jim's show is on from 2:00 pm to about 5:30 pm weekdays. WOC is 1420 AM.

I just would like to know if he's just blowing smoke.
