The spark plug problem is a issue in the 97-99 F-150s The later ones don't have that issue. My 01 Supercab F150 4x4 has 196,000 mi and I have not had a problem with the plugs (have put 2 sets of plugs in). They are a very popular truck around "here". Will agree that the GM trucks do ride like a car but was told that the frame rotted out under the box. JMHO
