London, Ontario, Canada | Goggle Laz-e Boy complaints. All kinds of issues with the leather fading or discoloring. Bought 2 recliner chairs and the leather faded behind head and in seating area. They said it was improper tanning process and would replace chairs. We had bought the chairs on sale and they would only give us the sale value towards the replacements. Had to shell out $300 more to get the same chairs.
Next the Sales manager says if we buy the extended warranty we won't have to worry about the leather again $150 more. New chairs arrive and within 1 year the leather fades again. Call the warranty co. and they say call Laz-e Boy as the warranty does NOT cover fading. Sales Manager denies saying the Warranty would cover fading. I politely asked 'Why would we ever buy the warranty if it did not cover fading" We stopped talking at that point.
Have had 2 leather couches from the Brick with no issues. Again, Goggle Laz e Boy complaints. They have taken a good name and cheapened their product to make big money. | |
