Subject: Re: raised garden issues

Saronville, NE
I planted most of my vegetables in raised beds inside of a high tunnel this year (30'x72'), my raised beds are 4'x12'. I have 45 tomato plants and I saw quite a bit of leaf curling, especially here a few weeks ago. I didn't know if it was the heat or some kind of disease/virus with the plants, still don't know. My plants are bearing heavily right now, and the yield doesn't seem to have been affected by the leaf curling. Don't know if you have any blossoms dropping off or other signs/symptoms with your plants, local extension service or master gardener in your area could tell you if others are experiencing the same problems. Many people at the Farmer's Market where I sell my produce say they have had issues with their vegetables outside this year because of all the extremes with the weather. Good luck to you!
