I just refuse to buy seafood from SE Asia or China. I can just imagine the water conditions and a complete lack of regulation. Even Consumer Reports recommends that you avoid it. And finding seafood from somewhere is tough sometimes. Locally wild salmon is easy to get, but it is never cheap. The only wild shrimp are from Mexico.
