UP of Michigan- North coast of USA
I used them for a number of years. You need to pay attention to how the wagon is designed on the inside. My 1st one was an Apache. Very well built, bitch to clean out as it had all the hay saver pipes welded to the floor. Don't remember how far apart they were, but very miserable to clean out. Especially if some twine gets left on bale. Had a couple of H&S after that.Fairly well built, much easier to clean out. Still a pain though. Just use sioux HD rings now. Like someone else said,Just move the ring and clean with the skidsteer. Waste is less with the rings. I use 4 and 5 foot bales. Seems the cattle don't drag so much out with smaller bales. Also the higher quality hay seems to wasted less. Good Luck with what ever you do.
