S.E. Iowa | When we remodeled our farm house we used Pella windows , They were not the box store ones they were the best and highest priced models available. They are the biggest piece of crap I ever bought. They are crank out windows the cranks arent strong enough to move the window out without pushing them by hand, the window will not fully close from the crank. The famous roll screen is a joke, A 5 mile per hour wind blows them out of the track so bugs get in. Grass Hoppers actually ate holes in the screen material they use. Now I will say that if you close and lock the windows they do an excellent job of sealing and keeping out the weather, but I hate to have windows that cant be used for the purpose the were designed for. Any more windows Installed will be Anderson | |
