ECMN | Are you an experienced heavy duty nonsyncro-trans driver or are you just starting out with this one? The instinctive response I had when I started driving heavy trucks was when I heard the grinding to shove the clutch further to the floor not really knowing I was just making it worse by to engaging the trans brake more, Then I learned not to use the clutch once moving or slightly depressing it just to the point of a slight slip to take the shock if the gears speeds were not exactly matched. | |
