Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | We used the original drives but drove them with the Insight DC Strip till module. The Strip till module could not handle the current requirements of the Char-Lynn PWM "Pace Motors" so we needed to use a PWM ampifier circuit for each drive. This amplifier circuit is an inline device to take the electrical load off of the module. The power to run the amplifiers was obtained from the battery on the cart.
We tried using the original flexicoil sensors but were not successful so we mounted Raven shaft sensors on the drive for each compartment.
Even though we did all this and it seems to work, I'm not certain that I would recommend this approach as it involved a fair amount of custom wiring etc.
The original flexicoil monitor is still used to watch over other functions such as air flow etc.
