Please help with problem of soybeans dieing in spots in the field. We had a perfect stand of double crop beans utill the 109 heat last week .Now there are spots as big as a pickup dead . These are random but maybe 20-30 in a 40 acre field.Fertilizer was 100 lb dap and potash and 130 units 28 percent on the wheat. Preceeding corn crop had 150 lb dap and potash and 160 units 28 percent plus........ The culprit I think ,three tons of chicken litter .Any ideas if this is litter related, because fields with no litter are not showing symptoms .I will pull soil samples tomorrow to see what is happening.I will add very dry here ,zero rain for three weeks with 10 days over 104.thanks for any ideas ,Also corn yield was 180 wheat yield 49 after severe freeze ,thks
