A jump in corn acres? I don't know but I think it will be very hard to plant as many acres in 2013 as we planted this year. A lot of marginal ground that got planted to corn this year will go to wheat or beans next year if they got burned by corn this year. Potentially less reward with beans but a lot less risk too. A lot of guys are going to be licking their wounds after this drought and looing to play it safe next year. With that said, investing in fertilizer stocks long term is probably not a bad idea.
