Have a great trip I took my son when he was about 8 years old on a trip in Glacier national park. It was in July of 2000 if I remember right and on the going to the sun road they had payloaders removing 10 feet of snow off the road around Logan Pass in July. The Canadian Rockies are awesome too Stay a night at waterton national park at the prince of whales hotel if you can and Take the International Boat Cruise to Goat Haunt Montana and look at the international boarder cut line through the trees along side the mountain. with http://www.watertoncruise.com/  watch out for Bears! and buy some pepper spray.
