NE Nebraska | I don't think the market has played all the weather cards yet. Until a major rain event happens or is even forcasted, this weather market "shouldn't" be over. I think our local basis here will continue to fall with increased future prices. Things are pretty bad and getting worse by the hour. Even with cooler temps and party cloudy today here, corn has been looking bad by 9 am. Beans are starting to show stress as well. Caught a very spotty .50" on thursday, about 1 square mile and .20" about 4 square mile area and corn was back to stressing bad by noon. | |
