Equipment dealer that sponsored my grandson's Little League team said he's had several calls from guys wanting to trade their 8 row corn heads for 12 rows because they don't think the 8 will keep the combine full enough. IHboog made the comment, & I agree, that maybe we should be looking for a mudhog for the combine as extremes usually follow extremes. We avg around 40" of rain a yr & we're around 12", or more, below that right now. Sure would be a kick in the pants to have to mud out a drought stricken crop. :~(
