Just did ours this spring. Silt was four to five foot thick. used a long stick hoe and loaded it in a euclid end dump.   Dumped it along two different fields. Next spring it will be pushed and leveled.. Will be the only black dirt we have . May need some lime etc. will do some soil tests on pile to see what we got.
