Central Minnesota | central air in the shop isn't that expensive... Look around with some plumbing and heating places. Sometimes they will come across a nice used furnace that came out of a house. And at times the A-coil and compressor are good. People are just updating or remodeling. It's not like you need to hide fancy duct work or anything. I just have a square plenum above my A-coil, with a few holes in it, and some 5 inch ducts that just turn the air. That's it. Works great... Shop stays nice and cool..
You can buy a small window shaker for a few hundred dollars. But i've tried that. The minute you open your door to bring something in, your little shaker will work all day to cool it back down.. | |
