Pretty rare in c but can happen. Stuff looks fantastic w 4 to 5 ft of root growth, however all hygroscopic h2o ends up gone and one day the plant simply decides it's over. Cooler temps will help but alot of n corn needs 2 to 5" h2o yesterday. Could be alot of fairly high tonnage silage w hardly no ears in the N say bout 2 weeks.
