I'll never market corn I don't have ever again!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care what my insurance level is, a good 2 dollar change in the basis changes anyone's "smart math" every time.
No worries here, My corn died but I didn't have any priced so right now I'm not long or short. Im Just perfect!!!! What can I say, I must have a gift when it comes to marketing.
I am sorry to hear about your corn. There will be a year (very soon) that forward contracting will make you $2. Somehow you need to try to protect your inputs thru Options, insurance or...... The crop is too expensive not to protect your investment. |
