Obion,TN | Corn looked fair here up untill this last almost two weeks of 100+ degree days. I have been flying every couple of days and you could almost watch it cook before your eyes. It has been dying more every day. Most all the hills are solid brown. There is a little green left in the hollers and flat spots. If I was guessing I would say there will be very little 100 bu. yields. I have talked to a few that said they were at a 100% loss on there whole crop already. Beans will still benefit some from rain but there are alot of those that are 1.5 to 2ft tall and in full bloom. Thats is whats going on around here hope most of yall are better off than we are here. | |
