You have to have the corn checked before harvest. Once it is in the wagon, or bin, even your own bin, no adjustment will be made for aflatoxin. If you suspect aflatoxin at all, contact your agent and have them get an adjuster to you. They have to screen it in the field. Aflatoxin levels can go up tremendously after the corn is in the bin, if the corn is not properly handled. Don't harvest until it is checked!
