your picture looks like what I'm seeing around the eastern part of the state.  I cut the grass before we left to visit our son, I think it was June 4 and I haven't cut it since.  Yesterday though because some of the weeds like Queen Ann's Lace were sticking up a foot or more I cut the lawn, mostly I just drove over dry grass and cut taller weeds.
