southern MN | Actually very common on my rolling hills, get 5 different soil types as well as very wet low to very dry hill in the same round.
Just 'normal' around here, tho I see the nice uniform fields when you get to a little flatter fields with only 1-2 soil types a little ways away.
'here' the low areas were stunted with 3-4x as much rain in May, now the hills are being stressed by the hot & dry, so I'm sure as the tassels show up they will again be a bit uneven.
