Litchfield MN. | I agree with those who say the radiologist should look at it. My oldest son had wrestled with his younger brother and soon the younger one was reeling in pain, holding his leg. We took him to the ER because it was a weekend and they X-rayed it. The attending physician saw nothing, sent us home and my son was in pain the rest of the weekend. Monday, the regular radiologist called and told us that my son had a hairline fracture and to get to the clinic immediately to have a cast put on it. We did and he was in a cast for 6 weeks. The doctor at the clinic said the fracture took the professional expertise of the radiologist to really see. It was pretty hidden.
That's my expereince.
