north central indiana | My advise would be do a little test plot and plant at 200000 different varieties and see what does good in your area. We can only grow a 4-0 here at latest. Some people like late ones like 3-8 here or like me I like a earlier one that gets tall and fully matures before first freeze. Either way its a pain but do a half acre with different varieties at a higher population and see. There's a new 93-24 bean that I bet is going to be the new double crop king but you never know. I haven't grown them but have a bag to try. Also have a 93-43 so will see if its better than the 93-40. The 40 doesnt get the heighth and doesn't mature right planting late. The 40 are okay but if early frost comes rather have the 3-20. The 93-22 is shorter plant then the 93-20 so not sure how good they are planting late. Might not get the heighth | |
