Central West Western Australia | On our 1720 which has the same metering system, we pretty much set ours by what the monitor says now. If all the details are entered into the monitor correctly we find it reads pretty well spot on. We have put new plastic wear plates under the meter roller, this is important for canola especially to stop it bypassing. It doesnt matter so much for other grains unless they get bad but another place to look out for is the little gates that change the machine from single shoot to double shoot, these can wear through and if your double shooting with canola you can lose a fair bit down the wrong whole. Although this depends which tank you have which commodity in. Also I found the individual tank clutches to be a pain in the arse so we took them out completely. All in all we have been very happy with the cart over 14 years.
