| The 2320 tank will meter Canola in a reasonable fashion if the sprague clutches are in good shape, you use an extra fine roller and the plastic wear strip under the roller is in good shape (not loose curled or missing). Very small adjustments will at times change the seeding rate a great deal, (3/8 to 1/2 a pound), this is because the sprague clutches in the metering box are not that fine. The reading on your monitor will be an accurate indication of what you are actually applying if you get it calibrated properly. I usually set it by cranking, then drive down the road with the meter engaged at field speed for 3 to 5 acres, then you know you have it right. And no you cannot adjust the fan speed from the monitor, your tractor hydraulic controls do that of course, but the monitor will tell you what RPM the fan is running at. | |
