Rivers, MB | He was asking an honest question. Its unfortunate that you've had 2 bad years in a row but your response was uncalled for. There are areas that still have a really nice crop. Its nice to hear both sides of the equation.
Scott, up north of you, there is alot of nice crop in MB. Just went across most of MB yesterday. Probably one of the nicest crops in years. BUT, we need rain soon to maintain that. I saw corn leaves rolling yesterday in an area that I've never seen suffer from lack of rain. I was very surprised. We need an 1-2" to finish our crops out to harvest to guarantee the potential we have right now. But the clock is ticking fast. A very dry fall and winter was a blessing this spring when we got 7" over seeding but now the low soil moisture profile is starting to show. | |
