| Just wondered if anyone has successfully used a spray controller - other than one made by Hardi - on a Hardi sprayer. My Hardi Commander sprayer has a Hardi 1500 monitor (not controller) on it, so it does have a flow meter on the output line. I have not previously needed a controller because the diaphram pump accurately adjusts the rate by lowering the pressure proportionately as engine speed is reduced (same gear).
I'm now using a tractor that will change gears to reduce speed. A controller will be required, I think. I have a Midtech ARC-6000 controller that might work if I can figure out how to wire it into the Hardi pressure adjusting valve and the flow meter. Hardi sprayers are just a little different and it looks like this could be tricky. Does anyone have experience with adapting a controller for this purpose? | |
