Ethridge, TN | You've still got a chance with the milo if it hasn't shot the head. One good thing about milo, it'll sit there and wait on a rain for quite a while.
I got real concerned early this spring when I saw how ground was working up, and what the soil moisture profile looked like. Sort of took a gamble, and cancelled every bit of corn, and put all the corn acreage to milo. I figure I've got about 2 weeks for this pattern to change. If it does, I may actually win on this one. Notice: I'm not holding my breath on it all working out ;-) | |
