Itasca, Texas | A pic would help but I'd say it'll still make a head. The head will stay down lower in the shuck and be harder to see. In this part we have a lot of experience with drought(unfortunately). It has to be awfully awfully bad to not shoot some sort of head. If it does make a decent size head you can expect it will be flat on the ground and no fun to harvest.
This actually looks like the first year it hasn't gone down here in at least 5 years. | |
