Blue Earth, MN | I have a farm with my Dad, but need extra income, so I work pretty much full time for a farm and am a weekend warrior on ours. So, try not to cast stones Martin. Large volume farms that need employees are very much different than small farms. I fully understand the principle of it all, but wish to focus on our own farm. I don't desire to run thousands of acres scattered across multiple counties, but that is what I am doing now with my job and I am good at it. I am in reality in competition with my job. To be honest, I am getting burned out, underpaid and frustrated. These farmers need people like me, to work as if it is our own. Without good help, they do not succeed, but they do tend to take us for granted. | |
