| The 440 hp Mustang Boss 302 took care of the only ZL1 Camero that showed up. There is something about that Boss 302, 200 less ponies and nearly half the price of the new 660 hp GT500 and it will almost hang with the GT500's. That 302 is an amazing engine.
The only real competition the Mustangs had at this drag race was themselves and one Viper. There were $100,000+ custom Vettes, other types of Vipers and only one of them was any competition for the Mustangs. Had I not been there I wouldn't have believed. It. I have a 2011 Z06 Vette and I am now disappointed in it. I will be test driving a new GT500 (the Z06 is the only Chevy I own....Vettes go back a long ways in my family, sorta tradition). | |
