Van Wert, OHIO | We have a pole barn built back in 74 and some of the posts are completely gone. We took a 16' 2x6 cut it in 3 pieces glued and nailed them together then drilled down with a 9" bit about 42" and sistered the beam next to the old one. Cut some plates and the bolted them together with all 1/2" all thread and put a bag of quick crete in each hole, stiffened it up really nice. I think we have about $15 invested in each one. | |
