NW IOWA | I do that kind of thing all the time only with ice cream. just use ice with a bunch of salt mixed in. That will lower the temperature way lower than freezing. I have chilled-frozen a can of beer in minutes using just ice and salt works great and cheap. Think home made ice cream freezer brine! Could put fruit cup in zip-lock bag and put ice and salt in a bigger bag or thermos. Careful it will freeze everything else it touches also. | |
