I'd say either a heart attack or hardware. Just cause you have magnets does not mean they can not get hardware.
As to posting.... you have a skid loader right? Post her and dig a hole and bury her. with what you are describing they will be able to tell what happened. We no longer have the dead cow truck come pick up animals. They either get buried or composted.
