jd-tom, I am in the same boat as you wanting a drill for small grains. I would really like a notill drill as I have a massey 33 currently that my grandfather bought years ago and has hung around till it is just about worn out. I thought at first I would get like a IH 5100 or Deere 8300 for wheat but more and more I would like to notill as much as possible my only problem is that I only plant about 40 to 100 acres of wheat a year. We have a planter set up on 15" for beans so we would rarely run it for soybeans but might if we got in a pinch.

I have looked at the 5400CIH with the yetter cart but I too am having a hard time finding one on 7" spacings.
