West Union, Illinois | To misquote what Sherlock Holmes said, when you exhausted all the other possibilities whatever is left, no matter how improbable, must be it. If the problem is exactly half the planter, and the only thing both common to both and dividing at that spot are the vacuum and the drive it has to be one of them.
I'd think a chain loose enough to cause it would be spotted easily. A gear slipping on a shaft is possible but I'd think by now it would fail entirely. It has half width disconnect? Could it be a clutch OR an intermittent problem in the cab controlling it? A faulty switch?
If all that checks out it has to be the vac system. Or something we have all missed. | |
